FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Photography pricing reflects much more than just the time spent taking photos. It also includes years of experience, professional equipment, editing, planning, communication, and the care that goes into creating high-quality images. Every session involves time both during and after the shoot to carefully select and hand-edit your final gallery.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make every session feel relaxed, simple, and enjoyable from start to finish. Once you reach out, we’ll talk about your vision, session type, location ideas, and the overall style you’re looking for. I’m happy to help guide you through outfit suggestions, timing, and planning details so you feel fully prepared. During your session, I focus on creating a comfortable atmosphere with natural posing and genuine moments. Whether you’re used to being in front of the camera or feeling a little nervous, I’ll guide you every step of the way to make the experience easy and fun. After your session, I carefully hand-edit your images and deliver your final gallery digitally so you can easily view, download, and share your photos. My goal is always to create timeless images you’ll love for years to come.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned photography through years of hands-on experience, practice, and passion. As a self-taught photographer, I spent countless hours studying lighting, composition, camera settings, and editing techniques on my own. I learned by experimenting, making mistakes, practicing with real sessions, and continuously pushing myself to improve. Over time, I developed my style by observing natural light, capturing genuine emotion, and paying attention to the small details that make each photo meaningful. Every session became an opportunity to grow creatively and gain more confidence behind the camera. Photography has been a journey of constant learning, and even after 13 years, I still love discovering new ways to create beautiful, timeless images.
