Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. The most common types of work performed are mostly brakes, oil changes and tune-ups. Although there are some timing belts, accessory belts, and oil leaks as well.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Check for certifications and references. Ensure the rate is fair and do not pay unless your vehicle is fixed and you are satisfied with the repair.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Most people look at auto mechanics as thieves. Nowadays that couldn't be further from the truth. Vehicles of today are far more sophisticated than the vehicles of 15-20 years ago and it takes a different kind of technician to perform those repairs correctly. Education in the field is so important. Without it, a repair could not be done properly.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. What vehicles and systems can the technician service. How long has the technician been working on those vehicles.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My work is alot different because I do what I do on the road. I don't have a shop to do the work in so it can be a little more tricky to get the job done. That is why I need to take extra special care with the work I do in order to make sure it is done right the first time, every time.
Q. What are you currently working on improving?
A. Currently I am looking to improve on availability. We are a small business and are looking to make sure we can be more available to be there when our customers need us.
