Introduction: "Own the Mound" was started in 2011 by Tom Mahony, a former professional pitching prospect and New York-state "pitcher of the year". Over the last three years, Tom has trained over 100 young pitchers in the tri-state area privately, professionally and successfully. It is Tom's proven ability to simplify and teach the proper and effective fundamentals of pitchers deliveries that has become a valuable "difference" when comparing his lessons to those standard, more common lessons we're all accustomed to.
