Carlos arrived on time - sanded down two doors and replaced the spindles. People were getting stuck in the bathroom - he fixed both doors and left the area perfectly clean.

Good person and easy to work with. He came over to inspect the door and give me a cost estimate for replacing the front door. After explaining the issue to him, he was able to propose a more cost effective solution to fix the cold air-draft problem for now which is working great. I will hire him in the spring to replace the door when the weather is nicer

Carlos installed a ceiling fan with light. He came in with drop cloths and a vacuum. With regards to the installation, Carlos knew exactly what he was doing. I now have a beautiful fan that is working correctly and quietly.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically prefer to come give estimate on total job rather than by the hour. I can give a fair and accurate estimate. Also willing to negotiate when doing multiple jobs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to communicate and come out and view job to give fair and accurate estimate. Once we agree on terms we sign contract and settle deposit if needed. We then set a date and job is completed. Payment due at completion unless larger job then may be multiple draws.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over15 years of hands-on experience and was taught by a master craftsman who built and designed ( a lot of custom woodworking)
