I’ve been playing for years and needed someone to help take my playing to the next level. I have found that person! Edward is a phenomenal shredder! His knowledge of guitar and of various techniques is exactly what I needed to open up the fretboard to me. Friendly, patient, knowledgeable and encouraging. What else is there to say? Highly recommend! 🤘🎸

Just because you can play, doesn't mean you can teach. Eddie can seriously play, but even better - he can seriously teach. He is very passionate about music/music theory and structures our lessons in a way that make them beneficial but also engaging. While he can obviously shred, he is very knowledgeable about many aspects of music. If you take his lessons seriously, and practice what he teaches you, you will progress faster than you ever have. I highly recommend.

I continue to take lessons with Shreds Guitar School because Eddie is very observant and skillfully explains what I can do to improve. Today we learners need to ask, "What will in-person lessons give me that I can't get online for free?"- The answer is FEEDBACK. So when choosing a teacher, you really need to know if your teacher will notice your strengths and weakness and design exercises and songs that will bring your weaknesses up to the level of your strengths. Eddie has an eagle eye when it comes to seeing the habits that are holding me back- especially the ones of which I'm not self-aware. With his guidance, I have developed all new confidence, and love it when I hear a song on the radio and I think, "Now I know I could play that!"

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Since I could walk I've had a guitar in my hand, although at the time it had no strings and was a tad oversized for me at the time! I've always dreamed of performing, learning to play guitar. The moment I got my hands on a real guitar of my own all bets were off. Hours and hours of practice and dedication were happy given towards learning this beautiful and always giving art. To be able to share my passion and knowledge of the instrument to others and see them benefit and overcome obstacles through my lessons is a dream come true!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

With 10+ years of teaching experience across multiple accredited schools and programs Ed has worked with players of all ages and backgrounds. From elementary school players to pros who've been performing for 40+ years, it's never too late to learn!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the teacher is prepared and has a plan for you to grow. Make sure that their skills and experience align with your goals. Make sure they focus more on cultivating an atmosphere of learning, inspiration and enrichment as opposed to a mandatory job.
