Introduction
I'm Elle, a jiu jitsu athlete, competitor, and instructor. I am a 2023 Nogi World Champion and a Master Worlds Silver Medalist in the Gi. I love how this sport allows me to problem solve and challenge myself physically and mentally. This is my passion and I enjoy sharing its technical beauty and also the mental fortitude that can be cultivated through learning this martial art. The lessons I teach can be valuable to anyone from any walk of life; from kids to college students to moms/dads, professionals & group sessions of all ages & genders. I also customize the instruction based on goals for self-defense, fitness, and/or jiu jitsu lessons. Please feel free to reach out. Michelle truly is an outstanding teacher, she taught me how to defend myself in tough situations, she also gave me a much better understanding of the basics of Ju-Jitsu.

Michelle is a true professional. I had the distinct honor of having her provide my teen grandchildren and me an introductory jiu-jitsu class. The flow and class structure was just right! Starting with a description of what is jiu-jitsu to a warm up, on to a demonstration and direct practice with her, and finally pairing us up made for a very thorough interactive and fun class. She is an excellent instructor.

Elle was able to step up my nogi passing game by combining her knowledge and personal techniques to match my body movements and level of experience. Her ability to understand the principles (and teach them in an effective way) felt very comfortable, natural, and insightful. Michelle is an amazing instructor and excellent with children. She is friendly, patient and has a positive energy about her. My daughters were initially shy and slow to open up. Michelle made them love BJJ and now they have been training for over 2 years!
