- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a questionnaire sheet about skin care and makeup I present and then I sit down with the client to get a clear understanding of the type of look they are interested in. After that I go into pricing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Lancome and MAC Cosmetics
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been passionate about individuality and creativity since I was a child, plus I loved makeup. I started applying makeup on friends and family and that led to doing makeup for weddings of family members. As soon as I saw an opportunity working in the Cosmetics Dept. at Macy's I jumped right on it. I am grateful to have worked for and trained with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Lancome and MAC Cosmetics. I would now like to pursue freelance makeup artistry, because it allows me to focus primarily on makeup application.
