FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard pricing system for painting new buildings, which follows standard construction progression. Residential and commercial repaints cannot be standardized due to many numerous factors which can be unique to each individual project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an in person estimate. Then we discuss your goals/ideas for project. I provide a solution for your project. On most occasions a simple contract will be created, signed and a timeline for completion will be set. We can then do paint sampling to chose a color or specific product to be used. After we pick colors, we compete the work in a systematic, clean fashion. When everyone is satisfied, the customer will be invoiced. We don't take a penny of your money until the job is complete. *If a jobs value is estimated at more than 8 thousand dollars, a down payment for materials may be necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for numerous successful painting contractors for about decade before I ventured out on my own. I started this company while working full time for another painter. After three years of side work, on top of a full time job, I had built enough of a "book of business" to feel confident to pursue my business full time. When I started my business, I made sure to have exceeded ten thousand hours of experience to ensure my success. Currently I'm less of a painter and more a manager. I essentially have a major in business administration from ECC, which I earned soon after my I graduated from Fredonia state.
