Do yourself a favor and do not hire him. I gave him a $2,000 deposit to start for a $4,600 job in which was supposed to be completed by July 17th and started on July 8th. He kept taking days off because he said his kid was sick and even on days he said he would show he didn't and would ignore texts. By the end of July not one thing was completed and he made concerning statements like " at least there's stuff here. I know I can take if I don't get paid" and " I just want to get this damn job done" which was that no one's doing but his own. He then asked me for more money because he had car trouble and would overdraft his account. So I gave him another $1,000. By July 31st/ August 1st I had to let him go because he was just not completing any work and when I questioned him on why he was starting to tuck point without fully grinding everything, I realized he was trying to tuck point over spots he did not grind and when I asked to see all the grinding done before he continued tuck pointing. He said that he couldn't finish the job. Luckily, I got a picture of his Union card and his license to get $1,000 refund but not before bringing up reporting him to his Union and taking him to litigation. He also left a huge mess everywhere after one day of working in which he was supposed to come back the next day and didn't for over a week which is when I had the discussion about getting a refund.

Terrible. Should be booted of the platform. Started the job bagged for money as he was broke and need it to pay his works. Did half ass job and was gonna come next day finish the rest and he never did. Also damaged neighbors car the brick fell on it. This guy should be booted from this platform. I called him and texted him several times. Next he will be hearing from my attorney.

Nicholas quoted $450, but upped price when he saw project. We agreed and he did the job. I explained clearly about the water draining off properly, and he said that if it did not drain completely he would come back and fix it. We exchanged texts and times for him to come back,but no show. Now, he has shined me on, and won’t answer any texts. I can’t paint it now till I can fix it. He has burned me for 600 bucks and a job unfinished. Thanks a lot.
