- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hardwood installation approximately $3.00sf Hardwood refinishing (clear) approximately $3.00sf. Hardwood refinishing (plus stain) approximately $3.50sf These prices are based on the norm of most projects. Some may vary by 25 to 50 cents a square foot. For installations the price is based on 3/4" hardwood that is 3" wide. If your product is wider it will be cheaper. Smaller wood may cost more due to the fact that it will take longer to install. Hardwood refinishing is $3ft based on a empty room and prepped area. Removal of carpet is extra. ($100-$200 includes all tack strips and pad staples to prep for sanding) Any damaged or missing boards that need to be replaced is also extra. That will be determined on site based on materials and time needed to make repairs. Staining a floor will cost 50 cents sf extra. Shoe molding is also additional (if needed).

If you send me a request for a quote we will most likely need to do and in house estimate. If you have the exact length and wide of your rooms please include this information so I can give you an accurate price. Please reply to your quote and let me know how else I can help you. 25 years in construction trades. 11 different trades mastered. 10 years in hardwood floor installs and refinishing. Learned that being reliable is the best way to conduct business. You can call or text me any time of day before, during or after your project. I am always available. During your project I arrive when I tell you I will and complete your job in the time that I estimate it to take. That's what people expect. That's what I deliver.
