FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Initially as I am discussing job requirements with a client, my mind is already generating an approach which will be most efficient and effective to get the job done. Throughout, I check in with my client to ensure satisfaction and if any adjustments/fine tuning is needed. Depending on type of work needed, my rates correspond as I understand there are different job requirements. Pricing is something I discuss upfront to ensure we agree before the start. If job scope changes, I discuss with my client and adjust as needed. My goal is to ensure client satisfaction and the project is done within agreed scope, schedule and quality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start of by arranging an initial discussion, similar to an interview. During this time I am asking a variety of questions to understand the job requirements. I also confirm during this time, expectations for the job duration and schedule as well ass what a success outcome will look like to my client. I ensure to follow up with meeting notes confirming my understanding based on that initial discussion. After the first day of work, I provide a summary of completed tasks and tasks I will work on next. I continue providing an update after each scheduled session. After all defined work is completed, I will meet to review what was done and ensure client is satisfied. If any additional work is needed, I coordinate additional sessions with my client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS In Accounting as well as continuing education in various technical disciplines such as networking, computer systems support, application support, data center management, business management and project management.
