Brett Borcherding

I am the founder and owner of BORCH LLC, and I personally operate and perform the work across its specialized service brands, including Borch Design Group, Borch AI Consulting, Borch Tutoring, and STG Baseball. When you hire me through Thumbtack, you are working directly with me—not being passed off to another contractor or company. I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a New York State Engineer-in-Training. My background combines engineering, technical problem-solving, design, teaching, technology, and hands-on baseball experience. Through Borch Tutoring, I provide individualized math, physics, science, and test-prep instruction focused on helping students genuinely understand the material and build confidence. Through STG Baseball, I personally provide individualized baseball instruction and player development, including pitching, throwing mechanics, command, velocity development, arm care, and overall skill development. Through Borch Design Group, I provide CAD, SolidWorks, 3D modeling, product and concept development, technical design, and web-design services. I enjoy taking an idea or problem and turning it into a practical finished solution. Through Borch AI Consulting, I help individuals and businesses use AI, automation, and modern technology to improve workflows, productivity, and day-to-day operations. Regardless of the service, I take every client, project, lesson, and training session seriously. I communicate directly, work efficiently, and focus on delivering practical, high-quality results tailored to what the customer actually needs.actually understand the material instead of just memorizing steps. I work through problems clearly, explain why each step matters, and help students build confidence for homework, tests, SAT Math, engineering classes, and AutoCAD. For pitching and baseball training, I help athletes with mechanics, velocity development, command, arm care, throwing routines, and off-speed pitches. My approach is direct, individualized, and based on real throwing experience. I take every session seriously and aim to make the time useful, organized, and easy to apply.
