Best decision I made for my proposal…. Aside from my fiancé.
When I was planning my proposal, I stressed over finding the right photographer. I wanted someone who was able to capture significant moments during the event without being over the top and remaining candid. I wanted someone who captured the right moments without interfering while still able to help with some poses. I was really asking for the Goldilocks of photography and Andrew fulfilled everything and more.
On the day of the proposal, he coordinated well with my friends and blended in as a tourist. He captured the “moneyshot” that I envisioned. The preview he gave of the photos in person looked amazing. He even stayed a bit later to grab a few extra photos. The final gallery was released a little bit more than a week later.
If you are looking for someone to capture your special moment in life, Andrew is your guy. I would choose him again and again if I had to do this all over.

Andrew deserves ALL the stars!! He is an absolute gem of a human and photographer! We did my shoot on the beach in the freezing cold and he would run to get my jacket for me to warm up in between takes. I wanted a 1989 Taylor’s Version style shoot and he DELIVERED- the shots, the lighting, the editing, the filters etc- his work came out better than I imagined it in my head lol. Y’all better snatch him up before he’s shooting for the cover of Vogue;)

Shuttersound Pictures were beyond amazing! I have four children from the ages of 2 to 9 years old. Mia & Andrew had amazing patience with them. I told Mia prior to my wedding the type of pictures I was looking for, and she delivered. Andrew must of been informed prior to our wedding as to what we wanted and he too delivered. Everyone at Shuttersound was responsive, professional, and so kind. I communicated with them over email and they were quick to answer my questions.
Mia, our photographer was INCREDIBLE. She captured our personalities so well, got through our pictures so efficiently that we got to spend an hour at our cocktail hour. The pictures are gorgeous, and Mia made sure we got some early so we could post and order them.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide different packages with different add-ons. Please reach out so we can discuss the best option for you and your event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to have a Zoom call so we can get to know you better and you can get a feel for how it is to work with us. Especially if you book us for your wedding, it is important that the photographer/videographer you spend the entire day with is the perfect fit for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I founded Shuttersound Pictures after I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film from LIU Post. Shuttersound Pictures has been in the production business for 10 years now. My wife Desiree joined the team 5 years ago. Together we have filmed and photographed weddings, conferences, birthday parties, and produced movies. We are especially proud to work with Sophisticated Weddings Magazine for their celebrity shoots and can claim to have had a short film at the Cannes Film Festival.
