Father Callahan officiated my daughters wedding in July! He was wonderful to deal with and works with you 100%. With the busy schedules of the bride and groom, he worked with them via phone and email. Though he offered the opportunity to select your own readings, we left the ceremony in his hands and it was beautiful! Thank you again!!Aug 8, 2016Verified
Michael was hired to officiate at a wedding ceremony. Lines of communication were immediately established, and maintained throughout the few months leading up to the wedding. He was a wealth of knowledge and experience and was able to address each joy, each question and every concern with finesse. From the moment he arrived, we felt as though our friend had arrived. He received rave reviews for his kind words, and how he naturally fit with us, everyone and everything going on. We would highly recommend Michael Callahan to officiate your special ceremony.Nov 11, 2015Verified
This summer I married my soul mate. On August 16, 2013. Reverend Callahan was our wedding officiant. He was outstanding. The ceremony was beautiful and it was performed in both English and in Spanish. Thank you for making our ceremony so special and meaningful Reverend Callahan. Best Regards Yajaira & JamaarOct 6, 2013Verified

Father Mike was great! He was very easy to get in contact with, offering us the option to chat via SKYPE and over the phone. He co-officiated our wedding along with Rabbi Roger Ross (also highly recommended) and made our ceremony wonderful and memorable! We've gotten so many compliments on the ceremony! We can't wait to see the video! He even did a portion of it in Spanish for our guests from Mexico who don't speak English. Thank you so much Father! Love, Claudia & LarryJun 8, 2013Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It is flexible depending on factors like budget, location, size of wedding, time of year. I have a standard fee which I'm happy to tell you. I find that if you feel I am the right person to officiate for you, there is always a way to work out the fee. There is a discount if you book and send the deposit electronically.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?-Communicate first by phone/email/video call. Find out which works best for you. -Meet in person or video chat. I meet with couples in Long Island and the two days per week that I am in NY City -I provide options and resources to plan the ceremony. I have abundant resources and samples to give you. Some couples prefer to leave most of the ceremony planning up to me and that is fine too.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over 25 years experience officiating at religious, civil and interfaith weddings. I have 12 years of seminary training and am validly ordained. I have lots of experience officiating in every possible venue: catering venues, parks, beaches, boats, churches, chapels, homes, my beautiful backyard and my living room :)
