Introduction: As a Corporate Put-on Comedian and emcee, I have performed for hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies, and am frequently rated ‘best speaker’ at their conferences. As a stand-up comedian, I am a regular opening act for Ray Romano; and as an actor, I've appeared on shows like “Everybody Loves Raymond” (CBS) and “Men Of a Certain Age.” (TNT) WHAT IS A CORPORATE PUT-ON? I am introduced as an industry expert or newly hired executive. I start off for real, but after a few minutes of my "out of the box" quips, everyone realizes they’ve been had - and they love it! STANDUP COMEDY I perform at theaters, business functions, holiday parties, country clubs, civic groups, religious organizations, private functions, comedy clubs and more. I also produce full-length comedy shows for any group that wants to have a great night of fun! I handpick from the top comics in the tri-state area to get the very best fit for each audience. THE FAKE TOASTER/ROASTER I have performed customized toasts/roasts for some of the biggest CEO’s in the country, as well as birthdays, retirements, and anniversaries, and I'll do the same for you. There is a moment in almost every function where someone gets up to give a toast. Imagine at that moment if you had me introduced as an old friend or colleague of the guest of honor to give them their own personal toast? THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE VIDEO: "This is Your Life - But Funny!" It’s a movie. About you. Your life. Or perhaps your company or organization. And it’s got all the details right, but it’s funny. Gut-level funny. So one moment, your friends, family, or co-workers are paying homage, and everyone is touched by emotion, and the next, they’re laughing hysterically. There’s a warm glow in the room. When I do a Corporate Comedy Put-on or entertain as a Fake Toaster for private events, I love preparing specific material for each event and get everyone laughing even as they are unsure if I'm for real. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to surprise people with comedy when they were expecting something else and to surprise them even more with my high level of customization. Of course, I love doing straight standup comedy as well, and the thrill of making an audience laugh and putting everyone into a great mood.

Thank you Harry for making me look like a genius for contacting you for our annual holiday party. Harry coordinated an entire show and performed with comedians Chris Roach and Davin Rosenbatt, as MC. This was the most amazing night of laughter and fun many of us have ever had at any event. You exceeded all expectations. All I can say is Talent! Talent! Talent!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My corporate Put-on Fee for a large business event is substantially higher then my fee for straight standup comedy for a private function or club work. I am a known entity in the Corporate Market for my talents as a Put-on and command a fair but pretty good fee. However, I am open to offers for situations where a company is local and has a legitimately smaller budget. My fee for personal toasts and roasts is also reasonable, considering I am writing original material for each such event but will be higher then my normal fee for straight stand-up comedy. I try to find out as much as I can from the client before putting out a price but sometimes that's not doable. I try to work with the client to find something that's mutually acceptable so I'm not underselling myself but also trying to make it work when possible with each client.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I gather as much information about each event I possibly can. I try to get the lay of the land, the room set-up, the audience make-up, the reason for the event, and if I'm personalizing or customizing, some specific information about individuals or honorees. If it's a corporate event, I ask for as much info about the company or industry and it's top issues and I also do homework on my own to create original material.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I combine over 35 years as a professional comedian, and 29 as a corporate put-on comedian, with my ability to act like a supreme expert in any industry, or a convincing guest giving a toast at a private function. I have a BA in history so I am avid about keeping up with current events which helps my material stay fresh for Stand-up, and I love creating customized humor for each special event. I have also taken studied acting in New York with some of the best coaches in the city to help me hone my performance skills. My years of experience at Fortune 1000 corporate functions, and top rated TV shows, as well as opening for big-name acts at major theaters have given me a great sense of understanding what it takes to succeed in a wide variety of high level show business situations.
