Introduction: I am a Certified Life Coach with a practice in Long Island, NY. I 'see' most clients over the phone, but also see clients in person at my office in East Norwich (Oyster Bay), NY . My clients are located throughout the world and range from entrepreneurs to professionals in Fortune 500 companies. They are individuals who choose to make minor improvements in their current positions or those wishing to make radical adjustments in their lives. What I hear most from my clients is how surprised they are with the changes that they are able to make in such a relatively short period of time working with me. I've been told by several different clients that coaching with me has been more helpful and made more of an impact on their lives than anything else they've tried, including therapy and counseling. With that said, I am not a therapist and do not claim to provide the same services. Simply stated, I serve as an accountability partner for individuals seeking permanent change at a rapid rate. When I started working with Michael in 2007, I really wasn't sure what to expect from a so-called, "Life Coach," but after a couple of sessions, I started seeing some big results and it was clear that the title of a "Life Coach" couldn't be any clearer as to what he does! Regardless of the challenges any of us face on a daily basis -- whether it's on advancing your career, spouse-related, managing money, friends &/or family situations and so-on, we work on a game-plan for immediate and long-term goals. We collaborate around effective strategies that simply shows results, the results that I've always tried to achieve on my own, but just couldn't get to it because I was always "too busy" &/or if I did, I simply couldn't hold on to it for too long. I look forward to our weekly coaching sessions, as it has helped me organize my priorities in life while still learning how to get the most out of every minute. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free consultation to determine if it is the right fit followed by weekly sessions that enable client to achieve his/her goal. Upon goal completion (or stabilization), client utilizes learned strategies to maintain on his/her own.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Life Coach and I have a BA in Psychology, a CASAC Level II, MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and my NCC. In addition to being a Life Coach, I am also Health Coach for the largest healthcare system in NYS where I work with individuals and families affected by Substance Use Disorder.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Throughout my life, folks have come to me with situations, problems, and ideas. I have always enjoyed being a catalyst in peoples' success. There is something very rewarding in the experience.
