Miguel transformed my space completely. He helped me reconfigure all the walls in my apartment, offered helpful suggestions, and did a brilliant job of repaving my ENTIRE apartment without seams (that's right, I have floor-through flooring end to end in my full-floor apartment) and it is beautiful. He also saved me money at every opportunity, and offered choices when it came to materials to give me multiple spend tiers. His team was neat, punctual, quick, and left my place spotless after completing the job and even hauling all the debris. He also never asked "but what does your husband think about this," which is a rarity when you're a woman doing reno on your own. He is a gem.

My experience with Miguel was top notch. He responded quickly - showed up for an initial assessment on time and equipped with a plan to get to work that day. His explanations were reasonable and his pricing was reasonable. He came up with solutions to ensure the work was accomplished well. I highly recommend Miguel if you’re having any issues with your floors.

Miguel is hands down one of the best contractors I've ever worked with. We can't recommend him enough. He's honest, respectful, knowledgeable, and dependable. If he says something will get done, it will get done right and on time.
My husband and I found Miguel on Thumbtack after dealing with a flooring installer who ended up not being able to properly install our herringbone floors. After the first installer quit the job, we called Miguel who then inspired confidence in us on his first visit to our apartment. He quickly assessed the situation, described exactly what materials we needed, (Home Depot and our first installer gave us bad advice on our original materials), and then he told us what his approach and timeframe would be for the job. His price was very reasonable. He and his team put in full days of hard work, while staying reasonably quiet and very respectful of our living space. A week later our floors were finished and we were very happy with the completed job. We would highly recommend Miguel.

Miguel was amazing to work with. He came in a day before to assess my floor and provided a few recommendations. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. His work was also great, and he made himself available to come back and review the work should anything go wrong. His price is also extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend!
Not only was Miguel price amazing but he finished the floors in a efficient time and they look IMMACULATEEEE!!!! I’m so happy with how it turned out. Every question I had about how to keep the floor looking amazing he answered and showed me products to use. I’ll be using him again for my kitchen pretty soon. Thank you so much Miguel!!!!!

I will need to see the job before being able to provide a quote. We will discuss price and once a price is agreed upon, I will begin the work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have to see the work beforehand in order to provide a quote. Once we agree on a price, I will create a contract for the customer to sign before work is started.

I work for the carpentry union of New York and I have 20 years of experience.
