- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for animals and enjoy thier company. Animals have a special place in my heart and have graciously offered to help friends with their pet care when needed. After 7 years of school, I decided to turn my hobby into additional income to help offset my student loan payments. It's a win win win situation. You get a vacation with a pet sitter who loves animals and will treat them as her own, I get to spend quality time caring for your pet, and I have some financial support to help with my lofty school loans! There couldn't be a better way to spoil yourself, your pets and me at the same time! Let's meet!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Customers often are looking for care for their cats and dogs while on a vacation. Caring for dogs includes making sure that they get the exercise they need, the love they want, and the nutrition their body requires. While cats are generally more independant, it is important to encourage play time and relaxation time with them as well. Proper nourishment and litter cleaning are imperative to make cats feel as comfortable with their pet sitter as possible! Other animals are sometimes in need of a pet sitter as well.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Currently I am spoiling 6 cats, 6 kittens and a turtle with my love! It's particularly rewarding to care for kittens and their mothers because the kittens are so innocent and the mothers are doing what they do best: caring for their babies!
