Rachel's Art

I have an MS in Art Education, and I work with students of various ages and backgrounds. I run a series of art classes for different age groups, with various media, which I teach in my home. I also do various forms of art, such as painting, sculpture, collage, and sell my art as well, In one of these classes, I teach the foundations of art, such as shading and perspective, to even the youngest grades. I have experience teaching all types of art. My approach has always been to focus on encouraging my students to use their own creativity and special talents in a structured manner, in order to create work they can call their own. I also teach arts and crafts classes to kids starting at age three as well as in various nursing homes and assistant living centers. My goal is for the children and adults I teach to always feel a sense of pride and confidence while they produce quality art.
