National Grid came by to check the check gas meter, touched something on the boiler they shouldn't have touched and left us without heat on one of the coldest nights of the year.
I came to Thumbtack and Abdul from Local Elite Plumbing and Heating contacted me right away. He came out early the next morning, looked at the issue and gave us an honest assessment of the situation. Since our boiler was 71 years old, the part that Nat Grid broke, could not be found and we needed a new boiler. He gave us all the information, all the steps in the process and the price up front for all the work. We agreed and our new boiler was installed fully the next day.
Friday-boiler broken, Local Elite responds.
Saturday-in person assessment, boiler purchased
Sunday-old boiler removed, new boiler installed and heat restored.
We had an issue on Monday and Abdul responded and showed one hour later and all is well.
