As a private yoga teacher I view each student as a unique individual with a special set of needs. My goal is that after every session you feel strong, empowered and self sufficient. To go from weak and achy to fluid and vibrant. I provide you with one on one yoga training, a nutrition plan based on eastern nutritional principles and weekly support. I’ve been teaching yoga for the past 7 years. I specialize in Yin Yoga and Sound Healing and in a few months I will be receiving my Masters in Oriental Medicine (Acupuncture and Herbalism)

I can’t say enough great thing! Marguerite was amazing. I was nervous but she was great she took her time and listened when I told her I had previous injuries. She would ask if anything was hurting with my back issues and if it did we changed poses. I felt so good when we were done I could not believe how fast the hour went. I can’t wait for Marguerite to come back to my house..

Marguerite meets you at the mat at your own level. She can work with you individually and in a class setting, and is able to teach a class to meet diverse yogi skill levels. She has a calm demeanor. Each class is unique, not the same basic poses over and over. She is Magic!

Divine Satya Yoga and Wellness is clean, and welcoming. The instructor, Marguerite, is so nice and knowledgeable. She very supportive, with a great sense of humor, which I feel is needed sometimes when doing yoga!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I send an intake form to make sure we are a good fit and that I can offer you what you’re looking for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelors degree in Psychology, have my 200 hour teacher certification and have been teaching for the past 6 years, I am a certified sound healer, and in 3 months I will be graduating with my Masters in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I struggled with anxiety and depression from a very young age. Traditional talk therapy and medication helped, but not enough. I began practicing yoga along with videos and it provided great relief. I started to see healing in a different way and immersed myself in the world of healing far beyond the physical postures.
