Russ from LII has done some home theater install work for me in the past & just recently installed two flatscreen TVs for me. The work was well planned, with all intentions being clearly explained before the job started. The project came out beyond my expectations & has put my home entertainment setup onto another level. Russ was friendly, professional, and did a great job hanging our TV. He helped us figure out exactly what we needed and made sure we had the proper equipment for the setup that we wanted. Communication was prompt and informative throughout the entire process. Russ showed up right on time. Gave me a heads up call, letting me know when he was nearby. First thing he did after sizing up the job was put down a heavy duty drop cloth so as not to make any mess. He was extremely knowledgable and was more than happy to answer any and all questions, even explaining the benefits of why he does certain things a particular way. He was thorough but also quick. He even hung from the mount on the wall before hanging the tv, which gave the wife peace of mind about supporting the tv weight. LII installed and mounted 3 flat panel TV's -- master bedroom with slim line shelf, basement/toy room and den with a full range of motion tilt/pull-out mount. Russ, from LII, also installed our surround sound system with expert advice on placement. Russ came on time to a scheduled appointment to preview the space and provide a quote for the job. He was then extremely flexible in working out a day/time that was convenient with our schedule to complete the work. I hired Russ from LII on two separate occasions. I could not be more satisfied and I am a tough customer. I had Russ out originally to Mount Two 50 inch plasma televisions. Russ was polite, punctual and super careful of my home. Fast forward a few years later I had a major home remodel. I was quite nervous about having my televisions mounted again on my newly constructed/professionally painted walls to say the least. I knew I could trust Russ at LII and gave him a call. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My prices are cheaper than, or close to, big box stores but I include a tilt mount with the price. Right off the bat, you save instantly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Communication is key. Whether it be text or email, you can always refer back in the conversation and layout all expectations of how the completed job will be.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Selling A/V equipment in 2000 and was then offered installation since I had product knowledge.
