Working with Pastor Calicia Hewitt was super easy and stress-free. She answered all my questions clearly and helped me every step of the way. Anytime I had a random question or needed to call, she was quick to respond and always gave thorough, straightforward answers. Any documents that needed to be emailed or mailed was sent on time which I am super grateful for. Pastor Hewitt married my husband and me on Rikers Island, and knowing she had experience with that gave me even more confidence in choosing her. She provided everything I needed for the ceremony—sample vows, a script, and she even printed out our marriage license for us. After the ceremony, she also mailed our marriage license to the Office of the City Clerk for me, which was super helpful. I felt really comfortable with her throughout the process—she made it all feel simple, supportive, and even fun! -Kaiyla 🫶🏽

Pastor Calicia was amazing, she helped me marry my best friend when things felt like they were falling apart. She responded so quickly and worked with me through every step and even had a last minute witness for me ready to go. From the minute I spoke to her I felt so comfortable with her, her kindness and friendly energy just made me want that when I married my now husband. I am so thankful for her.

Pastor Calicia is truly the best in her craft. I contacted a couple of officiants at 7:45 this morning as my license expires in a few days; she was the first to respond in about 5 minutes. She was kind, pleasant, friendly, and very professional. All her reviews are true, it felt like I was speaking to an old friend. The best part is Pastor Calicia is located in the Fresh Meadows area and was able to accommodate me even earlier than the original time I quoted, as my family wanted an early morning ceremony and on a holiday! We received the contract, and personalized sample scripts within the hour, just as she told us. She showed up on time and our ceremony was just how we imagined it. Thank you so much Pastor Calicia for coming through for us on such short notice. We appreciate you!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A typical ceremony depends on the day and time of the ceremony, distance I have to travel, and if there is a rehearsal.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If selected, first I will send out a contract, going over my responsibilities as your officiant and invoice. Second step is sending out sample scripts, and setting up appointment via phone, or video call to work on the perfect script. Last but not least, is our virtual meet and greet where we finalize the script and all ceremony details.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ordained minister. Registered with the NYC CLERKS OFFICE to officiate weddings.
