- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I find it best to charge per hour as it's hard to quote based on design length. Some designs are very intricate yet short while others are lengthy but simple. For all henna events, a quote will be provided on an hourly basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Please provide all details of the events - such as venue, # of guests needing henna, length of appointment requested, how many henna artists you would like to book for the event, etc. 2. We will schedule a quick call to finalize the details and get to know each other before the event! 3. After a deposit is made, I will send a confirmation email including all the details of the event. 4. I will reach out to the client 2 days before the event to see how things are going and if everything is all set. 5. Event time!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to apply henna on myself for fun when I was young. Over the years I continued doing henna on my family and friends. About 4 years ago, I finally decided to turn my passion for henna into a small business - it was the best decision I have ever made!
