FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are negotiable to a certain extent, for example, if I give the home owner a bid of $5000 to complete their roof but home owner tells me he or she only has $4700 to work with, Then I do hope they let me know because I will happily discount that price so they can afford to have their roof replaced, ) My estimated prices are not a set price, please give me feedback on my quote)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is simple, the customer contacts me, we set up a day and time that works for both us and I go to the customers house, meet in person, talk for a few minutes about what they would like done and or any concerns or questions they might have about the project. If it’s a potential roof I will then get on the roof and take measurements, I will write out the proposal, then I will talk to the customer about pricing, if we come to an agreement then I draw up the contract, receive 50% down payment for materials and dump fees, then write out a receipt, customer will receive the proposal, contract, receipt, and the day and time I will start and finish, my crew and I will then start and complete job, and when completed I will right out the invoice for customer stating the work completed and information about my warranty. The invoice is your receipt and my promise to warranty my work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working this field now for 15 years and in that time I have sat through many hours of safety courses, OSHA classes, and I have also completed roofing testing such as GAF, you can find the picture of my test and certificate in my profile.
