Introduction: I have been a Christian pastor for 30 + years and have worked with churches in NYC and upstate NY. I have had a diverse exposure to many cultures and belief systems different from my own. I understand people because I have had enormous experience in observing them in their social, cultural and spiritual environment and not just in a counseling office as most therapist do. This is what sets me apart from the rest. In addition, I have continued my training all thru my career as a pastor and counselor and consider myself a lifelong learner - always making room for improvement in my personal life and professional skills. I am sensitive to all faith backgrounds and values: Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu Buddhist and Atheist. I am comfortable working with them all. I welcome you to give me a try! I love people. Pastor Tony helped my wife and I through a difficult experience in losing her dad earlier this year. He is very adept at grief counseling and I recommend him highly. He is very easy to talk to and helps you work through the process in a most comfortable way.

In the middle of my first therapy session with Pastor Tony I knew that I made the right choice. He seemed to understand my struggles completely. In fact, he finished a couple of my sentences. I knew right then and there that besides book knowledge, of which he has plenty, he also has heart knowledge. What I mean is, he counsels from the mind as well as the heart. You won't regret it if you choose him to be your therapist. When I reflect on my mental and emotional growth since I have been having sessions with him it fills me with pride that I have grown so much. The same thing will happen to you. Your days won't be so cloudy anymore. It will take work on his part as well as yours, but Pastor Tony will bring you into the sunshine.

Pastor Tony is great at helping you and your partner to arrange a customized and personal ceremony. I have been to many wedding where the officiant did fine, but was going through the motions. Tony helped make our wedding just as fun and exciting as the reception for our guests, without compromising on how special and sacred it was.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I accept all kinds of insurance and sliding scale. I am more interested in helping people grow than in money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It takes a couple of sessions to really understand the scope of what needs to be addressed in one's life but it may take many months to make those changes and to gain the support necessary in doing so. Everyone is different and I try to work with each person individually, there are no cookie-cutter approaches in this line of business-and growth.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in music and religion, a masters in the Theology and a masters in Social Work, but my greatest training is the clinical work that I have obtained by amazing supervisors that enabled me to grow in compassion with wonderful skills of perception and listening in order to more fully understand how to make meaningful interventions that would empower my clients to move forward and embrace the life that they deserve to have.
