I have a rental property in Lake Katrine, NY and was looking for a local company to come do an over due spring clean-up/ garbage removal job. Since I live in NY, I used Thumbtack to find a company and received some great responses. When Robert Flanagan of Custom Lawn's & More called me to get some details for the job needed, I had a good feeling right away. He was very professional and knowledge about the service I needed. Before quoting me a price, he went to see the property and got back to me within hours with a detailed estimated cost for the job. Let me mention again that this was a very over due job and there was a LOT of work to be done. His estimate was extremely reasonable and beyond fair. He was so detailed in explaining what services he'd provided that I felt comfortable trusting him to do the job. He kept me up to date through the job and just did an OUTSTANDING job. The before and after pictures are incredible! It looked like a new property!!! I was in shock at how good of a job he did. He's very detailed and particular. I will be using Custom Lawns & More on a regular basis for my lawn maintenance and will be recommending them to friends, family, EVERYONE. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices vary from job to job. This is why we offer Free Estimates, its hard to offer a price without looking at the job. This way I can give you the best price for your property, and at the same time you know who you will be working for you before you make the commitment of hiring someone else without meeting them. I also offer a 15% Sr Citizens Discount, and a 10% Referral discount on their next service for customers who refers us to friends or family.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process after I have been hired is that I would set up a date and time for the work that needs to be completed.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing various types of landscaping for several years on the side as a hobby. I Finally decided to pursue my hobby and make a career out if it and open up my own business. I realized that I love doing this type of work and providing a satisfaction that the customer deserve. My goal it to make every customer happy with the work I provide.
