I purchased a bridesmaid dress from one of those basic bridesmaid websites for a wedding I’m going to and needed the bust tailored to fit me. Rosita was prompt, not too expensive, and she did what I can only describe as a fantastic job. She was very professional and I felt very comfortable with her. The pictures are in very different lightings but I can confirm it is the same dress with me at the same size/weight, Rosita just did an incredible job.

Rosita did an amazing job in altering my dress! I’m so pleased and absolutely love the fit, look and movement. Rosita transformed my dress to attend a wedding at such short notice. I was amazed at how skillfully she made the alterations of the lace appliques, chiffon, and satin bodice for a perfect, elegant fit. She used her own fabric to make the adjustments, and I couldn't tell the difference. To top it off, she even ironed my dress! How wonderful! This just demonstrates how much pride she takes in her work and how she offers exceptional, high-quality service. She was very pleasant, easy to talk to, and just an amazing professional. Rosita will definitely be my go-to Seamtress for all special occasions. Simply Amazing!

Wish I could add more of qualities about Rosita, she saved my daughter's wedding. Not only is her work quality amazing, her responsiveness, professionalism, punctuality and value are beyond as well, but her patience and knowledge was beyond our expectations. My daughter found out she was pregnant 5 months before her wedding so was not able to use her original wedding dress. She decided to go to a wedding shop (The Wedding Plaza-STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE) and was told that they could fix and accommodate her pregnancy with her new wedding dress with no problem. She was convinced to buy a wedding dress that was way too big with their assurance that they would be able to alter the dress with no problem. Long story short, they did not and could not deliver. With only 3 weeks prior to the wedding, thank goodness we found Rosita. From the minute she tried on the dress Rosita knew exactly what to do, how to do it and what needed to be done without her even saying what she needed or wanted. Her knowledge, patience and calmness I knew my daughter was in good hands!! Rosita fixed the dress to fit perfect and comfortably, and the delivery was exactly on time. Her prices are reasonable and extremely affordable but compared to her quality that alone is priceless!! Words can not express how happy and satisfied we were to have not only found Rosita. Thank you so much for all your hard and beautiful work.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depends on the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Speak to the customer to get a sense of their vision for the dress. Make suggestions, if necessary, based on my expertise and taking into consideration any budget constraints. Supply a preliminary quote based on our discussion. However, a more precise quote is given after a fitting with the customer and all alterations are identified.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of sewing experience. I respect tradition but do think "outside of the box" thus am in the unique position of being able to relate to a customer's vision.
