Omg where do I start!!! Rosita is so kind, sweet and professional!! When I reached out to her it was really late at night but I needed my wedding dress altered and the wedding was coming up within a few weeks. Rosita responded quickly and we set up an appointment right away. Her reviews are accurate and she truly does an awesome job!! My original dress fit in the hips but the top needed adjustment and I also wanted to add sleeves and hem my dress. Rosita even recommended stitching on my belt instead of just using the one that I purchased. That made my dress pop even more. Rosita, I am so grateful to have met you. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depends on the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Speak to the customer to get a sense of their vision for the dress. Make suggestions, if necessary, based on my expertise and taking into consideration any budget constraints. Supply a preliminary quote based on our discussion. However, a more precise quote is given after a fitting with the customer and all alterations are identified.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of sewing experience. I respect tradition but do think "outside of the box" thus am in the unique position of being able to relate to a customer's vision.
