For these reasons I only mediate divorces in New York State where I have this experience and training.] As a proponent of Alternative Dispute Resolution, I formed Domestic Divorce Services during 2010, offering couples a private, amicable, cost effective and collaborative approach to resolving their divorce issues and obtaining a divorce in New York State. Previously, I accumulated over two decades of experience in the matrimonial field, employed as a matrimonial paralegal and as a specially trained New York divorce mediator for a law firm for 13 years where I led the matrimonial and family law section. Domestic Divorce Services has developed an uncontested divorce process which saves couples time, money and which is more beneficial to parental relationships. No court appearances are generally required.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Divorce Mediation is billed at $175.00 per hour with a discounted payment option available. Clients may choose the fee arrangement that best meets their needs. The average divorce is resolved in 3 - 4 one hour and a half hour sessions. All mediation clients receive a free 30 minute consultation. See additional information at domesticdivorceservices.com. Uncontested divorce document preparation and processing assistance is a flat fee of $495.00 plus court filing fees. Couples have the option to pay in two installments. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Information gathering, goal setting and issue resolution in a neutral environment outside of court. I have evening and Saturday availability for couples who have difficulty taking time from work.
