I have a Shi Tzu that always barks at dogs out on walks and it had become very embarrassing to take him out. I called on Jay's services to help me with my situation. When he brought his fake dog out of the car I was wondering if I picked the right trainer, but it actually worked! My dog responded to this dog like any other. He then placed it in the distance and rewarded my dog for not barking (because the dog was outside of his "threshold of reactivity"). While I thought that was weird as well, we have slowly been closing the distance between my dog and the fake dog with absolutely no reaction from my dog! I am almost certain that in a couple more sessions, I will be able to take my dog on normal walks! Thank you Jay!

I know it's cliche, but Jay really is a dog whisperer. He was able to get my dog to stop barking at the doorbell or a knock on the door. And amazingly, he was able to do it in just one session, leaving us time to work on my dog's other annoying habits. Thank you Jay!

Rudy and Lola are pretty well trained but they have a bad habit of barking at the front door whenever anyone pulls into our driveway. we prefer they listen to us if we tell them it’s ok — and Jay / Top Dog Training was able to give us some great tips and tools to help that.

Top dog training is the best! Their 5-visit package is the way to go. By the 5th lesson my dalmatian was a different (better) dog. He finally began to listen to commands and the most important thing is Jay taught him to ALWAYS come when called, even with big distractions. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounted, multi-session packages, as dog training is a process and takes time for the dogs to change their behaviors or learn commands. Every customer has different needs which is why I offer a free, no-obligation, in-home consult so I can meet you and your dog and prescribe the right game plan.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come to your home to do the training, where distractions are at a minimum and that is where your dog is most comfortable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified dog trainer from ISCDT with the designation CDT-PSC.
