We are training and behavioral specialists, providing basic and advanced dog training through positive reinforcement. We only use positive dog training methods. That means your dog will always be treated kindly with us. Happy voices, treats, and repetition are the only ways to train. We consider punishment and unnecessary devices such as prong or shock collars to be archaic. We believe in teaching dog owners to impart simple, effective, time-efficient and cruelty-free techniques that work alongside every dog's natural instincts.

I started training with xolo (my 6 month doberman) when he was around 3 months. Jay helped me learn how to be able to reinforce a training session for Xolo. When jay is training it was amazing to see how Xolo would follow along with the training very fast. When Xolo would see jay he would be really excited to see him. Jay helped me start the training with Xolo and I appreciate the help a lot.

Jay saved us from having a breakdown! We have had many dogs before and loved having a canine companion. However as empty nesters we found the task overwhelming. Jay gave us the tools to be able to enjoy our puppy. The commands are easy to follow she enjoys “performing” for us. We can finally relax and have fun with our dog. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounted, multi-session packages, as dog training is a process and takes time for the dogs to change their behaviors or learn commands. Every customer has different needs which is why I offer a free, no-obligation, in-home consult so I can meet you and your dog and prescribe the right game plan.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come to your home to do the training, where distractions are at a minimum and that is where your dog is most comfortable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified dog trainer from ISCDT with the designation CDT-PSC.
