- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is different. The condition of the project will vary from one customer to another. Bedroom Standard Size 10x12- $300.00 w/Paint does not include ceiling or trim Single Story Exterior 1500sq ft start at $2,250.00 Two Story Exterior 3000sq ft start out at $3,250.00 Three Story Exterior 4500sq ft start out at $4,500.00
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customer initiates communication by calling or emailing. Pirk's Painting then responds within 2 business days to coordinate a convenient time to set up a walk through. During the walk through the scope of work to be estimated is thoroughly picked apart to provide the best and most accurate estimate for the customer. The customer can choose to have a rough estimate (verbal) given to them right on the spot or chose to receive a hard-copy at a later date. The hard-copy estimate will provide and note all work to be performed to accomplish the job at hand. It will include all materials, labor cost, taxes, and expected duration for project completion. This is the most used approach in bigger jobs requiring a thorough breakdown to insure a concise understanding of the scope management plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I, Justin Pirk owner/operator of Pirk's Painting currently go to school for my dual degree, Bachelor's & Master's in Operations Management at Excelsior College. I've completed an Associates Degree in Business Administration at TC3. I've worked in the field for 8 years with varying companies both affiliated and not affiliated with UNION membership. I've been in business for myself since 2013 on and off as I complete my collegiate efforts. Previously my company was called White Mountain Painting.
