Citygate Electric completed our job on a really tight deadline, and uses a dedicated drywall professional who did an AMAZING job. You can't even tell our outlet was moved. The whole job was done within days of the hire and the rate was well worth the quality. We would hire again for any electrical needs.

Details: Move switch or outlet • 1 switch or outlet • Yes, there is an existing switch, outlet, or wiring • Rooms without water access (e.g., bedroom) • I already purchased the switch(es) and outlet(s) • House

I needed two light fixtures replaced, one in my dining room and one in by bathroom. City Gate was very responsive and came out the same day to give me an estimate. Their prices are on par with other electricians I've used in the past and I would say it's reasonable. They came in a few days after the initial estimate to do the install. I found them to be friendly and professional. I would have liked my bathroom fixture to be installed slightly lower but they did not have the wire with them to make the extension. They also gave me a quote to upgrade my panel and do some other electrical work. I thought the quotes for the other electrical work to be a little high but the panel upgrade seemed like a fair price. I would use them again in the future for the panel install and would recommend them to friends.

I connected with the team at CityGate to have some rough-ins for ceiling fans performed at our home that we recently moved into. After coming out to view the project, I had a quote within hours. The work was scheduled for the following week and I was very pleased with their professionalism and cleanliness. As a result, I am happy to recommend this firm and will likely use again for future projects.

Details: Install switch or outlet • 6+ switches or outlets • No, there is no existing wiring • Rooms without water access (e.g., bedroom) • Basement • I already purchased the switch(es) and outlet(s) • House

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We provide free estimates. Electrical repairs and maintenance vary in size and complexity and often require us to physically view the potential work needed in order to give a free estimate. We are family owned and operated with little overhead which allows our clients to benefit from our reasonable pricing models.
