Providing quality academic instruction and support integrated with effective strategies is the core vehicle for success in students today. My goal for each student is to provide them with an atmosphere that is disciplined, yet also nurturing as they strive to take ownership of their education. In my instructional career, I have demonstrated the ability to do this in a variety of subjects through quality lectures, discussions, assignments, and assessments. I merge a passion for English and writing proficiency to stimulate and arouse students, crafting together an enjoyable, yet academically demanding environment that is specific to the needs of each student. Also, as a teacher for the last twelve years, I am very familiar with the strategies and techniques that are critical for students to perform at their very best. Whether small group, one-on-one tutoring, or standardized test preparation, I will work closely with you and/or your child to produce the best possible results.
