I have been teaching HS math classes for close to 10 years in NYC, primarily at YFR High School in Queens NY. Courses I have taught include algebra 2, geometry, AP precalculus and AP calculus.
In addition, I am the founder and director of Math Exceed, an elite math tutoring company that provides high performing math tutoring sessions for high school and college students.
I have personally recruited each one of our tutors, and we work hard to find exceptional math talent to join our team.
Through professional online 1-on-1 sessions, we are able to tutor students from across the US.
Math subjects include: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, AP Exams, Regent Exams, SAT & ACT Math, and more.

I highly recommend Mr William Markowitz. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and explains concepts in a way that is easy to understand. He uses great technology tools and visual examples that really help with learning and staying engaged during sessions.
What I appreciate most is that he goes above and beyond by following up after lessons and providing additional information, practice, and support when needed. His teaching style has made a big difference in both understanding and confidence in math.

I highly recommend them they are the best! William the tutor my daughter had help her a lot explaining in detail every step of the pre- calculus problems she was not understanding. She was getting a D in her class, after the tutoring she was able to bring up her grade to a B+. I am very thankful with math exceed!! Great job!

Jacob has been an amazing tutor. I've been able to learn many really complex math topics from Jacob. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new students, we start with an assessment to determine the ideal frequency of math tutoring sessions. As the sessions progress, we gain even better insights to help the student master the math material with confidence.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching math for close to 10 years, and I currently teach in the classroom and one-on-one. This has included classes in geometry, algebra 2, AP Precalculus, and AP Calculus.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy teaching and enjoy math. Helping student understand a difficult math topic is very satisfying.
