FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1) All initial consults are FREE and you'll get a detailed estimate same day! 2) As opposed to the typical "cost per square foot" model, we base our prices fairly - on the number of cabinet doors and drawers you have. Kitchens come in all sizes but cabinets aren't the only fixtures in the room, choosing us means getting more without paying extra.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At That Wood Work, our process for new customers begins with a FREE personalized consultation to understand your vision and address specific needs, such as repairs or desired changes. Here's what you can expect: 1) We meticulously assess the scope of the project, considering factors such as the extent of repairs, the type of paint or finishes required, and any additional customizations you may desire (i.e. new handles, soft-close hinges, replacement glass inserts, etc.). 2) We show you similar jobs that we've done in the past and break down our "clean, sand, spray" process, making sure we're all on the same page. That way we can assemble a general timeline for your ideal cabinet refacing. 3) We then answer any questions you may have! (We know getting work done on your home can be a bit overwhelming and you might come up with more questions after we've gone, that's why we encourage texts! 4) You'll receive your estimate that same day! This thorough consultation forms the basis for a detailed estimate that not only encompasses material and labor costs but also emphasizes the cost-effective nature of refacing. We ensure transparency in our estimates, providing a comprehensive overview of the investment required to achieve your envisioned cabinet transformation and rekindle your love for home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

She also gained hands-on experience in several apprenticeships where she refined her skills and mastered new techniques in various materials, and finishes.
