FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is competitive and transparent – no hidden fees or surprise charges. Every inspection includes a wood-destroying insect (WDI) inspection, thermal imaging, drone roof evaluation, and a detailed digital report with photos and videos – all at no extra cost. I’ve done extensive market research on home inspection costs on Long Island, and I share helpful insights in a blog article on my website to help buyers understand what to expect. I also occasionally offer discounts for repeat clients or multi-unit inspections.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you reach out, I’ll respond quickly to confirm availability and answer any questions you may have. After scheduling, I’ll send over a short agreement and make sure you know what to expect on inspection day. After the inspection, you'll receive a clear, thorough report, typically within 24 hours, and I’m always available to go over it with you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the required 140-hour home inspection certification course and passed the New York State licensing exam. In addition to the mandated coursework, I’ve earned numerous voluntary certifications through InterNACHI – the leading home inspection association. I’m also an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) and a licensed FAA Part 107 drone pilot, which allows me to perform aerial roof inspections safely and legally. To stay current, I regularly complete continuing education and attend industry conferences focused on inspection standards, tools, and technology.
