I have been searching for a Traditional School that teaches Choy Li Fut which is a traditional system of Kung Fu coming out of the Shaolin Temple in China. I ran into this school at the US Open Kung Fu championships and was very impressed by the performance of the schools students. The school has a very impressive lineage that goes back several hundred years and is directly connected to the Green Cloud temple in China. the Master of the school is Sifu Gus Kaparos, if you do a Google search he's all over the internet and has lots of impressive video footage. I have been there for years and the training has brought me from a zero to a hero. But don't take my word for it do a Google search and look for your self. http://greencloud.net/

When I look for any type of school for myself or my family I look for quality, resources and reputation. Most schools in marital arts or other disciplines like music or art tend to use surface tactics to make their business look more important or appealing than it actually is. The price for the service can be high and I want to be sure that I am getting real value for my money. I can say without hesitation that Green Cloud Kung Fu has exceeded my expectations and has provided real value consistently.
Despite the school and Sifu's clear lineage to the monastery in Tai San, instruction is given without ego and with real concern about the improvement of the student. This school's Sifu has the rare combination of attributes: A humble and knowledgeable instructor who elevates his students. Highly recommended.

I have to respond to the negative review by Samantha K. You are obviously a competitor who had no ethics. People like my self will always leave positive reviews because Green Cloud has a loyal following. There's a difference between a cult and a loyal following. Your description of the school is bogus for one thing you say that staff members are writing positive reviews and that's a flat out lie. For one Master Kaparos the owner teaches all the adult classes and only has one other black belt who has been with him since the age of six teaching the kids classes. That being said This school is very family oriented not some health club. I train at the school not as often as I would like but I love the classes they have a small intimate setting and Sifu Kaparos always takes the time to make sure I have everything down before I step foot out of the school. My son has been training for for years and I am more than satisfied with his progress. His self confidence and focus has improved quite a bit and he's doing great in sports.
