FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All New York State registered architects are required to achieve thirty-six hours of continuing education every three years. The American Institute of Architects has a more stringent requirement, as a member I am required to complete eighteen hours of credit each year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been interested in architecture since high school. I was fortunate enough to have a teacher convince me to take art and computer design courses instead of extra study halls. That high school interest grew into a college passion and a professional license.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hiring an architect should be more than selecting the lowest bid. I've always felt that constructing a new space to live or work in is an extremely personal endeavor. You should have an architect who can see your vision and can deftly intertwine their experience and expertise into your design. That's why I always offer a free face to face consultation for all potential clients.
