About
I enjoy taking the stress out of peoples lives by solving day to day issues that pop up around the home. Especially clients who have families to take care of or those who may not have family close by to help out. Putting together DIY furniture, repairing torn window screens, changing door knobs, and many other seemingly minor tasks that end up taking longer than planned or may be more difficult than expected are right up my alley. I provide quality work and always explain my work thoroughly. Your happiness is what makes this job worth the time and energy. I’m not happy until you are happy. What really makes my job exciting is when the customer gets a big smile on his or her face when the job is complete. I personally enjoy interacting with the customer as well to really make their house a home. Everybody wants to have “new” without the frustration. Word of mouth is the best advertisement.

Hired on Thumbtack

Really lucked out on my first time using Thumbtack! Robert was very helpful walking me through setting up our appointment and was punctual to the dot. He clearly knew what he was doing and completed the two relatively minor tasks (assembling furniture) that had stumped me quickly and professionally. As well, Robert was a pleasure to interact with from start to finish. I highly recommend Robert and will call upon him again should the need arise.

Bob did the best job putting together outdoor furniture for my elderly mother. He also helped her put up new smoke detectors, just out of kindness. Mom was thrilled! Thank you, Bob for going above and beyond. :)

I cannot say enough good things about Robert. He came on time, on the day agreed upon and worked straight through until all 6 furniture pieces had been assembled. He did not even stop for lunch! He was very personable and his attention to detail is very commendable. I was very satisfied with how all the pieces turned out. His pricing is quite reasonable for the level of service. I would definitely use him again and I highly recommend him.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I subscribe to MANY trade magazines so I can stay up-to-date on the newest technologies, and processes for making your home your palace!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I am most commonly hired by customers who prefer to maintain their own properties, but need periodic assistance. I also program, repair and perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems for regular customers. I am a very knowledgeable person so I will also do special requests if I have the ability to do so. I only ask that customers ask, no matter the task. And if it is outside of my comfort zone, I will get the right person for you. My job is to make the maintenance of your home as streamlined as possible.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Choose your contractor based on experience and skill. Choosing based on price alone may only get mediocre service results costing you more in the long run. Your service provider should have a keen eye as well, to be able to point out concerns you may not be aware of. Also hire somebody who really cares about your property in its entirety, not just how much money they can make on one portion of your property.
