I am a well-established wedding, engagement, and portrait photographer. I love what I do, and my goal is to work closely with you to create images you will love! I have a lot of experience shooting in nature and urban settings and venues. I handled small intimate elopements and large weddings. My work has been published in numerous wedding and fashion magazines and I have won photography awards during my 15+ year photography career. I focus on creating images that are dynamic and modern, but also document the day with a story-like feel to capture the personalities of my clients.

We hired Boris to photograph our wedding and he was amazing! He had great communication prior to our big day, arrived on time, and was extremely professional, blended right in with our vibe of the event. He captured essential moments from before and during our ceremony and really knocked it out of the park with the family and bridal party portraits. Not only did he get the shortlist we talked about prior but multiple impromptu moments throughout the day that we are so happy he captured. The photos are stunning and our friends keep saying they look like a Vogue photoshoot. Hire this guy!

If you’re looking for a photographer, look no further! Boris is your guy!! Boris was such a gem of a photographer! My oh my! We have never had such beautiful pictures taken!
On the day of the shoot, Boris was already there ahead of time and took us to the location he had pre-selected for us. During the shoot, he made the entire process seem so smooth. He guided us through some poses, made us laugh for some natural and candid captures and also came up with a few ideas to highlight my dress.
He even edited and delivered the pictures the same day. Boris completely exceeded our expectations. Totally recommend!

My now husband and I were looking for someone to photograph our last minute winter elopement at Mohonk mountain house and feel so incredibly fortunate to have found Boris!
He truly exceeded all expectations. He made us feel comfortable - we had the best time - and he has such an amazing eye. He was able to pick out such perfect spots for photos and got us some really interesting and artistic shots. We were so blown away and excited when we opened our gallery and saw literally hundreds of stellar photos. Everything turned out better than we could have expected.
Not only do we adore the photos, but we were so impressed with the turnaround time! We were amazed to receive a link to the gallery in just a couple of days. It was especially meaningful to get the gallery so quickly since our families weren’t able to be with us due to COVID. FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am currently relocating from NYC to the Catskills / Hudson Valley Area. I am offering discounts off my normal pricing in order to book some more local jobs. I am not a budget photographer because I like to devote a lot of time to planning, scouting, working with clients and editing the final images to provide the best experience I can for my clients. However I do take your budget in consideration when crafting a package that fits your needs and still allows me to devote maximum amount of time to the final product.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically discuss the photoshoot ahead of time via email or phone. I consult regarding any questions, and we set a date, time and location for the shoot. During the shoot I offer guidance on posing and capture your natural personality! Most people I photograph have never had a professional photoshoot, so I am used to new clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography and film at New York University. I have over a decade experience in the photography industry, photographing for wedding, portrait, fashion and commercial clients. I currently also lead a photography club for high school students!
