FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing depends on the type and extent of the damage, affected materials, contamination level, equipment required, labor, demolition needs, and drying time. Before work begins, we explain the recommended services, authorization process, and any applicable inspection or emergency-service fees. We focus on transparent pricing and do not add services without discussing them with the customer. For insurance-related losses, we provide detailed documentation, but coverage and payment decisions remain with the insurance carrier.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by asking what happened, whether the source has been stopped, which areas are affected, and whether there are any immediate safety concerns. We then schedule the earliest available inspection and provide an estimated arrival window. At the property, our technician documents the damage, takes moisture readings, explains the recommended stabilization work, and obtains authorization before proceeding. Depending on the loss, work may include water extraction, removal of unsalvageable materials, cleaning, containment, air movement, dehumidification, and ongoing moisture monitoring. We keep the customer informed throughout the project and provide photographs and documentation of the work performed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is IICRC Certified and receives restoration-specific training in water extraction, structural drying, moisture detection, demolition, containment, cleaning, deodorization, and safe jobsite practices. We also receive ongoing education on restoration equipment, documentation procedures, and industry-standard methods for handling water, fire, smoke, sewage, and mold-related projects. For mold projects, we follow New York State requirements and perform remediation under a written plan prepared by an independent New York State-licensed mold assessor.
