FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer referral discounts. For every pet groomed from your referral you will receive a $5 credit to your next groom.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When sending a Thumbtack communication, we’ll ask you some basic questions about your pet: Name, age, size, breed, any medical conditions, coat condition, and what you’re looking for from the service. After establishing your needs we may schedule a phone appointment or an appointment of service. There is an arrival window of two hours. Closer to appointment time, we will send you a text with the most recent ETA as told by GPS. We may arrive a bit earlier and stay for a time after setting up for grooming or cleaning the grooming space. ******Due to the Pandemic, paperwork can be emailed****** When we arrive the very first time, we will bring our Terms of Service as well as other documents for your review to fill out and sign. We will then take your pet into our state-of-the art grooming trailer, where they will be treated to an exclusive experience, with some of the industry’s best products. The whole process usually takes from 1-2 hours. We’ll then bring your pet back to you and make sure everything was as discussed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cynthia trained at Cashmere Academy of Pet Grooming. She holds certifications in the AKC safe program, salon sanitation, Pet First Aid and CPR, and this fall will be attending more trade shows to gain a couple more! As of now New York State has no current requirements of groomers, but that is quickly changing. As those requirements show themselves, Cynthia will make sure to comply in a timely fashion.
