Hello, I think my work stands out because I make it a priority to meet and exceed my clients needs on every project. My work is eclectic, ranging from cartoon characters for children's books to traditional oil portraits on canvas. As an artist/illustrator the projects I take on are challenging which is what I thrive on! I work with traditional mediums as well as digital applications. I keep up to date with all the new software updates in most of the Adobe Programs primarily Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop as well as Corel Painter! I never finish a project unless the client is 100% satisfied! I enjoy waking up each morning to a new project, I rarely paint or create the same things twice which keeps my creativity fresh! I love to be challenged and have the experience of working confidently in just about any medium! I've been blessed to do the thing I love to do for a living, so I never look at what I do as that dreaded four letter word...."work!"

Bill Graf--and Sandra, the other half of this team--were great to work with. They dove enthusiastically into the project (an abstract circuit board mural for my office), asked lots of questions to figure out exactly what I imagined for the space, researched circuits, came up with several designs, redesigned when I asked them to make a change, and ultimately executed the final design beautifully with an attention to detail I had not anticipated. When Bill first responded to my Thumbtack post, I wasn't sure if he was the right choice--not because his work wasn't impressive, but simply because the mathematical nature of my project seemed very different from his portfolio--but he proved to be incredibly versatile, and I'm so happy with the outcome. I'll also add that they worked with me on scheduling to fit the needs of a busy office. Not to mention, he and Sandra are super enjoyable, nice people.

I hired Bill to work out illustrations for a self-published children's book. The book is based on my dog. He did a great job re-creating my dog from photos that I submitted. Bill is creative, and detail oriented; not to mention extremely easy to work with. I would hire him for my next illustration job.

I am still in the process of developing characters for several children's books - but am so impressed with Bill's professionalism, attention to detail, willingness to incorporate my feedback but still offer his expert guidance on other styles and options that may work better ... He has been an absolute pleasure to work with and I plan to use his services for my future projects. I never hired someone through thumbtack before and was a little nervous about the quality of work, but Bill is an absolute delight and a true collaborative partner for my projects.

Working with William Graf is an absolute pleasure. I was fortunate to work with him for several years on a variety of projects. His work ethic is excellent, he is experienced and very willing to create an illustration or painting that achieves your ultimate design idea. He has a unique ability to listen to the initial concept direction and build on it by adding his own creative solutions, while working with you at each step to insure that the final goal is met. The range of his painting style is extensive, he has the ability to capture the emotion in a portrait, fine details and texture in fabrics, the beauty of a landscape, or a photo real still life. William is an accomplished artist who is reliable, and very willing to work with you to create a beautiful work of art.

I had the opportunity to work with Bill on several projects and he has always been attentive to our particular needs as a church organization. His exceptional talent and vision were an integral in helping us create images that reflected who we are, and presented our messages visually in a ways that captures viewers. Pricing is based on the complexity of the project, there is not a "set fee" projects are evaluated based on scope, scale & dead line!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing is to talk on the phone and get specifics of what the client needs are. Communication is crucial to ensuring a successful project!

I have studied at the Art Students League in NYC, School of Visual Arts NYC and studied academic drawing and painting at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy
