- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our architectural project fees start at $2,400. The total depends on the scope, existing conditions, required drawings, and consultant coordination. We provide a written proposal that explains the deliverables, fee, and payment schedule before work begins. Site visits, travel, engineering, surveys, and permit fees are identified separately where applicable. For larger projects, we organize the work into phases so you can make informed decisions before moving forward.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a conversation about your property, goals, budget, and timing. We review any drawings, surveys, or photos you have, then identify what additional information is needed. Next, we prepare a proposal with a clear scope, fee, and schedule. Once approved, we develop the design with you, review options, and prepare the agreed drawings for contractor pricing, permit review, or construction. Site visits and consultant involvement are coordinated around the project’s needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studio RNB is led by Rourke Brakeville, RA, NCARB, a New York licensed architect and the firm’s co-founder. His work combines architectural design, building documentation, and coordination through the design and construction process. Our design and project management team supports each project, with specialist consultants involved when the scope requires them. Rourke’s New York architect license number is 048163.
