I hired sonson_photography through Thumbtack as the videographer for my wedding as our venue came with a photographer . I initially was torn on even having video done but I’m so happy I went ahead with it. He was very personable, easy to talk to and it was a pleasure booking with him. Everyone had a wonderful experience and he even stayed a little extra with us to enjoy the day and capture more footage! Our promo video and raw footage look amazing and definitely something that we can watch for years to come! I highly recommend booking sonson_photography for any events you have coming up whether it is photos or videos you need, he can get the job done! 😊

Hussain is absolutely wonderful! He called before the party and wanted to make sure every detail was the way we wanted. At the party there were over 40 people, we combined a housewarming, a birthday of our son, and a couple more religious ceremonies into one. Though it wasn't something he has seen and worked with before, he followed all instructions to the T! Photos and videos were beautiful and high quality. Definitely recommend him for small parties like ours. Looking forward to celebrating more occasions with him! All our guests loved him and enjoyed his company. He wasn't in anyone's way, very courteous, respectful and quiet. Brought some decorations and decorated as well. Thank you!

I reached out to Sonson Photographer when my initial photographer canceled on us when our baby shower was couple hours away. He accepted to do the baby shower. He did a very phenomenal job and the pictures were beautiful.

Hussein is one of the most caring individuals and photographers I know in New York. Not only is he very accommodating in both suggestions of different shots and locations for shoots, but he’s extremely receptive in what the client wants, along with that, he’s versatile and hardworking. Hussein handled multiple photoshoot sessions for a recent wedding for one of my friends from pharmacy school, all throughout which Hussein went above and beyond in planning the entire experience for the newly wed couple, from engagement photo shoots, to every single event throughout the beautiful cultural wedding and ceremony. You will be pleasantly surprised when his creative juices start flowing and what he paints on the photography canvas for you with his photography. I would highly recommend Hussein’s talent to anyone!
