We recently moved into a ground-floor apartment in Brooklyn and needed a quick installation of our Elder security system. JB responded instantly and was helpful throughout the initial setup process. He arrived promptly with a colleague, installed and tested all sensors and motion detectors, and even managed to install the camera in a thick brick wall. His pricing was reasonable, and he followed up the next day to ensure everything was working correctly. Although it took an extra day than originally planned for, JB and his asst. were prompt, polite and professional. He discussed what we wanted done with us first. Then they did a neat job of installing cameras and equipment that we had bought ourselves. He explained how everything worked with my husband and helped him troubleshoot when we had a subsequent issue with one of the cameras. Overall, we are happy with their work and would recommend them to others.

Hired Cismycro for residential. I supplied some of the equipment (cameras, NVR), they supplied the rest (cables, jacks, wiring panel, and miscellaneous odds and ends.)
They provided an excellent quote. (Much better than many competitors.)
I had very specific requirements around where I wanted the network and coax drops and how I wanted the wires run. (Specifically, I wanted all wires run in the walls, not on the outside of the house like your cable TV tech would do it.) Cismycro was able to accommodate all of these requests and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy.
This wiring job requires opening holes in the interior walls to complete properly. They made sure I understood it was necessary (great communication!) Although, wall repair was not included in the initial quote, they were able to provide an additional contractor that could fix the walls for an additional fee (which I appreciated.)
The construction of the house was difficult and they handled this professionally. In order to get the wiring channel setup between the basement and attic, there was a challenging section where getting through the beams required special tools and patience. Cismycro handled it without much trouble.
There were even some changes to the job (at my request), and they handled it all. I needed a cellular antenna mounted on the exterior, as well as modifying the locations of some of the jacks.
They’re very flexible, have excellent quality work, and have great pricing.
Highly recommended.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is different and pricing vary depending on what each customer is trying to accomplish. It depends on what is needed, the lens type used, lighting, dimensions of the area, the resolution needed, the type of camera used,the brand of camera, the length of the runs. We also install systems bought by the customer.We can provide estimates with some details of the project but it is always best to survey the property first before installation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1 Have a phone conversation about the project and what the client is trying to accomplish.
2. Try to set up an appointment so i can survey the area and suggest what is needed
3. Agree on system and pricing
4. Set a date for install
5. Sign contract, collect a small deposit.
6. Complete wiring and Install cameras
7. Configure system for remote online viewing
8, Adjust and Focus cameras
9. Clean up after our selves.
10. Train Customer to use system.
11. Paid for balance at end of job, provide receipt and warranty information.

My training is extensive in the field of networking and low voltage electrical and controls; the following is a list of some of the certifications and license i hold, Cisco certified, Microsoft Certified Administrator, FOA certified (Fiber Optic), NY State Licensed Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm / NY State low voltage electrician, NJ Licensed Telecommunications Electrical Contractor,NICERT fire alarm certified, NJ electronic Security licensed , NJ fire alarm licensed, coupled with over 20 years of working in the field of network engineering, designing and implementing various systems data and electronic security networks.
