Sondra was a WONDERFUL, calming and knowledgeable officiant we couldn't be happier with our decision! She was not only very versed in the NYC wedding protocol but her presence was relaxed and stress-free, a characteristic that is MOST welcome in a wedding atmosphere. Sondra's counseling background gives her the ability to connect and understand others, we spoke on the phone a few times (she is very punctual and responsive) and quickly knew she was the officiant for us. She is the woman for the job!!

We asked Sondra to be our marriage officiant this past weekend - and we absolutely LOVED it. Sondra made every step of it - easy - personable - caring and professional. I hired Sondra with about 6 days advance notice. We wanted a short, simple service for a small group of friends and family. We had very little expectations for an officiant, but Sondra helped tailor the service to our very alternative needs. She listened to my input, and found the perfect variation of vows and readings for our relationship, on very short notice. The only reason I am not rating Coupling with 5 stars, is because we had to reschedule phone appointments several times. I am very satisfied with the end result, and would recommend her.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I provide each wedding couple with a simple questionnaire which covers all of the basic ceremony details - for elopements to gala ceremonies.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I'm ordsined, licensed and a student if theology. I'm currently a candidate for a Master of Theology degree.
