- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading professional literature, and am currently studying with and am a member of the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychothertapy.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview a handful of therapists in order to get a sense of the right "fit." The relationship with the therapist, rather than the therapist's particlular approach, is the instrument of change. Once you have found the right person, it is important that you begin to reveal yourself honestly. Without that, there will be no change.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Psychotherapy is my life's work. I am completely dedicated to helping others, and am intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually connected to that project. I provide people with the gift of listening, something too few of us have received.
