Introduction: Eric Lee is a self-taught caricature artist and illustrator from upstate New York. As a child, Eric would create his own comic books and donate them to the school library so other kids could read and enjoy the illustrations. Eric always enjoyed drawing portraits of different people and creating content around the drawings. Eric did not go to any special art schools to learn this skill! As a teenager, Eric and his family were invited to the set of Sesame Street to meet the cast and muppets as a result of winning a cartoon drawing contest. Eric got into caricature by practicing how to draw funny faces; one of his many mentors is a famous caricature artist for MADD Magazine. Eric has been drawing caricatures for over 30 + years and enjoys making people laugh where ever he performs. He has a DJ service and enjoys speed-drawing his audience! The average song is about 2 to 3 minutes long. Eric will sketch your caricature while the music is playing and when the song ends, your caricature will be complete. Eric works with various brush markers, pastels, Prismacolor pencils, graphite, and fiber castell pencils for best results. Eric's drawings capture your likeness and are exaggerated just a bit for great laughs!

Eric is multitalented. As DJ for the Town of Rochester community events for over 15 years, he brought his talents to various venues and parties. He brings joy and entertainment wherever he performs. Eric not only plays DJ music, but he is also an amazing entertainer. His creativity doesn’t stop there as his artistic talents can be seen in the caricatures he creates. I absolutely loved working with Eric!!

I have worked with Eric twice. Once for my daughters wedding. He was an absolute hit! Everyone loved him and he did such a great job entertaining as well as he was drawing. The second time was at my daughters baby shower. Once again, above and beyond. He showed up early and stayed late. He even helped clean up! He was busy the entire time. If you want to add life to any party or benefit this is the man you HAVE TO HAVE!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised with the details I requested for this drawing. If you want an original drawing of any event for yourself or for a gift, you won't be disappointed with Eric's work. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Jam n Draw Offers Discounts on Special Events such as Memorial Day. Honoring our Veterans and their families. Contact Jam n Draw for more information on special discounts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers are sent a Entertainment Contract for ether DJ or Drawing Entertainment. Customers can choose both if need be. Price Rates depends on Distance, Start & End Time of Event. Customers sign contract after reading and understand the terms & conditions. The contract must be mailed back to Jam n Draw Experience with a deposit. Check or Money Orders are excepted. Once Event is concluded Customer must pay the balance in full, ether by check, money order or cash.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught Caricature Artist. I have been drawing since I was a young child. Never went to any type of art school. I have a God given talent. I studied DJing Entertainment through a good friend of mine who does excellent DJ and Entertainment work with his company. I have always been an Entertainer so becoming a DJ came really easy for me. Not a shy bone in my body. My videos will prove it all.
