Introduction: There are many things I like about my job. But some of the things I like about my job is knowing that it is one of those things that when it is done right everyone wins and everyone is happy. It's not about making money. It's about how you can help others make money. And by helping others make money you to make money. In short the more you help others make money the more money you end up making.

Ben, and I had the good fortune of meeting each other on Google Plus. I found out that he provided web hosting service, and since I had just purchased a domain (barteriffic.com), and thought I could just buy a box of software, and would be in business, that is until I explained to Ben what, and how I planned to achieve my goal. It was then that he explained that what I intended to do with off-the-shelf software would require so much modification that it would be cost-prohibitive, and he explained why, and how he could do it better for less, and it was at that moment in time that I knew I had found the man for the job. He's worked around the clock, but we're in Beta-test mode now, and getting the very minor wrinkles ironed out. And I am thankful that we met when we did, and he prevented a very big disappointment for me ☆☆☆☆☆

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For shared website hosting prices vary from $2.99 per month to $9.99 per month. For website design the price depends on what the site is going to be like. Some more complex sites require more work. On general I charge $15.00 an hour per site, and $20.00 an hour for software development. However this is always negotiable.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First thing that should be asked when requesting a service such as mine. Would be what languages does the person know. If the person has know idea what your talking about turn them down. If the person responds with an answer like C/C++ or JAVA or something else then you are assured he or she knows what she is talking about. Another thing that should be asked is to see a portfolio of recent work. This is a very important part in finding someone who can offer you these types of services. If the person shows you work that you are not satisfied with you should either request for lower price in a service or turn them down.
